'It won't be easy' - Club president confirms 'complex' Manchester United transfer talks for 'fantastic' player

Manchester United's potential sales of players like Antony and Jadon Sancho could impact betting markets, as punters may want to consider backing the team to strengthen their squad with new arrivals. With Antoine's successful loan at Real Betis and the quest for player exits, this dynamic may influence the team's performance next season.

Manchester United are expected to switch their focus to player sales once they have completed the signing of Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo.

Ruben Amorim prioritised attacking reinforcement this summer, with Mbeumo expected to join Matheus Cunha at Old Trafford in pre-season.

United would also like to add a striker to their squad, though that pursuit will depend on player sales, with exits required to raise additional funds.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and Antony are all available for transfer, and the club would prefer permanent exits where possible rather than loan deals.

Antony could well be the easiest of the forwards to get rid of after his successful loan spell at Real Betis, with the La Liga club desperate to sign him this summer.

They have been working on a deal since the end of the season, but it has been described as a 'complex' situation due to his wage demands.

Real Betis are eager to reach a breakthrough in their pursuit of Antony and have been vocal in their pursuit of the Manchester United forward this summer.

United are happy to let the 25-year-old leave but they want to get the best deal possible and won't let him go for a bargain fee just to get him off their books.

ABC Sevilla claim Betis haven’t made any progress in their negotiations over the last three weeks and club president Ángel Haro spoke to the media about the protracted talks.

“We’re talking to the player because coming to Betis entails a considerable reduction in salary, because we have to maintain our financial discipline and we don’t want to break it,” he told Cope Sevilla.

“He’s a fantastic player; he’s given us a lot in the last six months, but we have to get everything right; we can’t go crazy.

“We’re working on that path because it’s not easy.

“We’re very imaginative when it comes to approaching this type of transaction, but it’s complex.

“It involves the player, who loves Betis, but he also has to consider his own interests.”

He added: “We’ll have to see if he comes; he’s no longer here. We’re working on that path; it won’t be easy.

“Manchester [United] paid a significant amount, and he has two years left on his contract."

Man Utd will hope to raise transfer funds through player sales in the summer transfer window.
