Wolves Make Concrete Offer to Sign ‘Insane’ Star with ‘Left Foot Made of Gold’

Wolves’ concrete offer for AS Monaco playmaker Maghnes Akliouche hints at a potential shift in Premier League dynamics, making them a team to watch for punters. With key players departing and new signings on the horizon, betting on Wolves' improved performance in the upcoming season could yield favorable outcomes.

Wolves have made a concrete offer to sign AS Monaco playmaker Maghnes Akliouche, according to insider Abdel Hamed. The Midlands club are looking to strengthen their squad massively this summer after avoiding relegation under manager Vitor Pereira, but have seen key players move on already and now need to replace them ahead of the new campaign.

Star forward Matheus Cunha has completed a move to Manchester United already, and now Wolves have made their move to replace him with a Ligue 1 sensation ahead of stiff competition.

Akliouche, who has been described as 'insane' and as having a 'left foot made of gold', is expected to depart Monaco this summer amid strong interest from a host of clubs, including the likes of Premier League champions Liverpool. But according to French insider Hamed, it's Wolves who have made a concrete offer to the 23-year-old playmaker as they look to make a splash in the transfer market.

Despite the various interests recently mentioned, such as Arsenal, Leverkusen, or even Tottenham, only Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton have made concrete offers for Maghnes Akliouche. Reports previously have stated that Monaco would want around £59m for the playmaker, and it's highly unlikely that Wolves would go that high considering that their record purchase is the £44m they spent on signing Cunha from Atletico Madrid.

Wolves have already added Fer Lopez to their squad from Celta Vigo, while a move for striker Jorgen Strand-Larsen to make his loan move permanent has also been completed. It has also been reported that the Black and Gold club have made a move to sign El Bilal Toure to bolster their forward line, with Fabio Silva expected to move on following several seasons away on loan.

Maghnes Akliouche Stats (Ligue 1) 2024-25 Appearances: 32 Goals: 5 Assists: 10 Big chances created: 15 Balls recovered per game: 4.1 Successful dribbles: 1.6 (50%)

Wolves are making 'good progress' on a deal to sign Rennes defender Christopher Wooh.

Wolves have made a concrete offer to sign this Ligue 1 playmaker.
