Tottenham Ready to Bid £50m to Sign ‘Unplayable’ Star for Thomas Frank

Tottenham Hotspur's interest in Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White could signal a strong betting opportunity for punters, particularly given Spurs' Champions League qualification and managerial changes, which may lead to a more aggressive transfer strategy. A potential move could boost Tottenham's performance, enhancing their odds favorable for upcoming matches.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a blockbuster summer move for Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal. The Lilywhites have secured Champions League football for the 2025/26 season after winning the Europa League final against Manchester United, despite finishing the Premier League season in 17th place.

Their domestic form saw them take the decision to sack Ange Postecoglou as manager, with Brentford's Thomas Frank set to replace him, and the club are now eyeing a statement transfer for the new boss.

Tottenham Want to Sign Gibbs-White Gibbs-White was a regular for Nottingham Forest in the 2024/25 season as they pushed for Champions League football until the final day of the season, where defeat to Chelsea condemned them to the Europa Conference League instead. The England international, who has been described as 'truly unplayable', had been linked with a move to Man City this summer to replace Kevin De Bruyne, but they have since cooled their interest after signing Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan and Rayan Cherki from Lyon.

Now Tottenham are entering the race for his signature instead, with Daniel Levy ready to test their resolve to keep the playmaker. Spurs are reportedly ready to offer around £50m to seal his signing from Forest, with new manager Frank pushing for a statement signing during his first transfer window in charge.

Tottenham are also said to be interested in signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford as a new attacking signing, with question marks over the future of current captain Heung-Min Son and Richarlison too. Forest are unlikely to be willing sellers of Gibbs-White, but a big offer could change their minds and with Spurs being able to offer Champions League football there is every chance he is interested in making the move.
