This marks his fifth event of the season, where he hopes to build on his impressive performances, which include breaking the 90m mark for the first time with a throw of 90.23m in Doha. Despite this achievement, he finished second to Germany's Julian Weber, who recorded a world-leading throw of 91.06m. Chopra also placed second to Weber in Poland before securing his victory in Paris with an opening throw of 88.16m. This upcoming meet will be his first appearance at the Ostrava Golden Spike, and it will be streamed live in India on World Athletics’ Inside Track. After Doha, Neeraj competed at the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial in Chorzow, Poland, where he (84.14m) against finished second to Weber (86.12m). Neeraj finally beat Weber at the Paris Diamond League on Friday as the Indian topped the field with his opening throw of 88.16m. Neeraj’s event - men’s javelin throw - at the 64th Ostrava Golden Spike will begin at 10:30PM IST on June 24 (7PM local time).
